The Green-Rainbow Party (GRP) state committee invites YOU to come to our meeting on Sunday, July 17 at Clark University (Jonas Clark Hall, Room JC-001,950 Main Street, Worcester) between 10 and 1 pm. (For state committee members, the meeting runs from 9:30--4:30.) Come hear about exciting projects underway and more getting organized. Join in and be the solution!
Come hear about:
- - Mark Miller's breakthrough state rep campaign that needs YOUR help to go from his 45% vote total in 2010 to an all-out win this fall in the 3rd Berkshire special election!
- - the Better Budget Initiative to revitalize our communities, strengthen schools, make higher education affordable, and fund critical services by cutting waste and corporate welfare, and taxing the untaxed rich!
- - the Peace-Justice-Climate Convergence (and Voter Pledge) to bring the war dollars home while creating green jobs that put people back to work and make wars-for-oil obsolete!
- - the Fair Districts Initiative in collaboration with the New Democracy & Black Empowerment Coalition that is organizing with the community of color to overcome historic discrimination and restore a political voice to the disenfranchised black, Latino and Asian American communities in Massachusetts!
- - the promise and pitfalls of the 2012 presidential race, and help decide our strategy going forward!
- - the exciting work of the GRP local chapters that have already formed, and possible new chapters around the state!
Come build the growing Green-Rainbow movement for people, peace and the planet in Massachusetts and beyond! If you can't attend but would like to get involved, please email us at office@green-rainbow.org or call 617-418-3756.
