The 2012 campaign for President of the United States is picking up steam. The Green-Rainbow Party expects to hold a Presidential Primary in March 2012. We also expect to send delegates to a national Green Party nominating convention in the summer of 2012. There are a number of things that must be done to participate in the primary, to select delegates, and to participate in the convention. The GRP must submit the names of all persons to appear on our primary ballot to the Secretary of the Commonwealth. It must also submit a plan explaining how we will use the votes to determine the composition of our delegation to the national convention.

At this point, we expect the April 2 meeting of the State Committee to form a special working group to carry our Presidential work forward. This group needs volunteers who can lend a hand between now and November 2012.
