Can we have 30 minutes of your time?
A NOTE FROM GRP CO-CHAIR MICHAEL HORAN:
Can I have a minute of your time?
... Each day between now and November 2nd?
That's a half hour minimum. As Jill sallies forth into the cauldron again tonight, Nat crisscrosses the state, and Rick, Scott, and Mark turn up the heat in their own regions, it's absolutely imperative that each of us follow suit. The "half-hour" was an attempt to be gracious--what I really want to say is, "can I have every available minute of your free time between now and November 2?"
Fact is, whatever time you can spare can be used advantageously. Here's my list of low-cost suggestions for maximum exposure. Generating awareness is everything right now, but it only works if we--and everyone we can sign on!--join in.
Thanks, as always , for the incredible support you're providing. This campaign has shown me how truly unified we can be as a party, and the party is going to be that much stronger come November 3rd as result of our combined efforts.

1. Show up tonight for a stand-out prior to the second and final "media consortium" debate in Needham. We'll have signs. Important that the press sees a strong contingent out there. We'll be meeting at 5:30 pm, but show up when you can!!! Here's a map:

Check the calendar for other events:
STEIN CAMPAIGN CALENDAR
2. Donate to the campaign. We're going to be running a series of radio ads and we have a fresh new fundraising campaign underway to support them. You'll see a new thermometer under the rubric "Clean Money Time - Let Stein Shine!" on the web site:
STEIN FOR GOVERNOR HOME PAGE
3. Send out personal e-mails to EVERYONE in MA in your address book encouraging them to vote--and to DONATE. There are some sample letters below. Re-write in your own words. And ask recipients to forward to everyone THEY know. (Oh, and add that they should sign up to receive text messages from the campaign (and so should you): text JILL to
89800
4. Pick up Stein lawn signs and distribute them to everyone you know who'll put one out. (Call Dante, our field coordinator, at 508-740-4092 if you need the location of a local pick-up point). Wear your button and plaster your vehicle with bumper stickers (We have plenty of all of the above for distribution!).
And: door-knock, leaflet, and phonebank (and find others to join you)--we have a full-scale canvassing effort on now, and a volunteer kit available with suggestions and scripts. Drop me a line directly if you want a copy).
5. Take advantage of the various flyers available on the Stein for Governor web site. You can run off whatever you need for hard copy distribution--and you can send links to each PDF to friends of yours who'll do the same! If you know people active in the peace movement, immigrant rights advocates, sustainable agriculture promoters, or you hang around with a lot of stoners, there's a flyer specifically for them (and many others). Send them the link to the specific flyer and ask them to forward to all of their colleagues. We can reach thousands of people daily this way with targeted messaging.

6. Don't let the spoiler argument derail our message. Review and distribute the "Debunking the Spoiler Myth" flyer.
DEBUNKING THE SPOILER MYTH FLYER
7. Get and stay active online--create an account on Blue Mass Group (check out our add on the-right hand side) and add your comments to relevant threads (please be respectful of their turf). Put your 2 cents in on the discussion threads that appear following stories on The Globe, Herald, and (especially) local news.
8. If you're on Facebook:
Use FB-mail to send the link to the "Jill Stein for Governor" page to every one of your FB "friends." Start reposting each new items on the Stein FB page to YOUR wall. Each and every day! We can reach tens of thousands of people DAILY this way. For FREE.
Sign on as "attending" our Facebook "Clean Money Surge." And send THAT link to all your FB "friends as well.
FACEBOOK CLEAN MONEY SURGE
Be sure to "Like"/"Friend" each of our candidates on FB and repost news each day from each of their FB pages to your wall:
Mark Miller for Rep
Friends to Elect Scott Laugenour
Nat Fortune for Massachusetts State Auditor
Rick Purcell
Jill Stein for Governor of Massachusetts
--and if you see our FB ads--click "Like!"
9. Support our entire ticket. Visit each of our candidates' sites to review their material, and be sure to add them to any of your communications to friends and colleagues. Contact their campaign managers to pick up lawn signs, stickers, and to find out about upcoming events. (Candidates, please add details to this thread regarding what materials you have available, upcoming events, canvassing opps, and anything else folks can do to assist you!)
Jill Stein for Governor
Nat Fortune for State Auditor
Rick Purcell for Lt Governor
Scott Laugenour for State Rep
(Scott maintains a terrific campaign trail blog, btw!)
Mark Miller for State Rep
10. Invite all and sundry to our State Convention on November 14th, 9 am- 6pm, at Clark University in Worcester! This is a truly critical post-electoral action, but it's equally important that we generate interest and convention registrations while interest is red-hot. Talk it up with everyone--Greens, Prog-Dems, Tea Partiers, whoever. We know we're advancing the opinions of the majority when it comes to issues from single-payer to legalizing weed--it's time to become a truly "big tent" party and to assume our rightful role as a major player, and the convention is the way to do just that by bringing together disgruntled voters from across the state. (Mailer is going out, and a dedicated web page will be up imminently).
(11: Bonus: Add your ideas, notes on what you do and plan to do, to this thread).
Thanks again--michael

SAMPLE TEXT FOR E-MAIL TO FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS, ETC--rewrite in your own words
Dear Friend,
We are now only a few days from a critical vote for Governor. Your vote will tell the world what kind of Commonwealth you want. What will your vote say?
I'm going to cast my vote for Jill Stein, the only woman in the race, and the only candidate who has refused to take money from the Beacon Hill lobbyists. Unlike her opponents, Jill has never been part of the big money political machines. She's never been an insider or a corporate apologist like her opponents. In fact, she's a medical doctor who has dedicated her life to helping people and communities fight back against exploitation and arrogance.
Jill is the only candidate who questions the introduction of gambling casinos into Massachusetts. She's the only candidate who is campaigning for universal single-payer health care. She's the only candidate who is promising to fully fund our schools and social services and to balance the budget by going after the sweetheart deals and corporate tax giveaways that the other candidates are protecting.
Please don't let anyone scare you into voting for Deval Patrick - whom you don't really trust - as a way of voting against Charlie Baker. That's just a way of making sure that you never vote for change. You deserve better. If we're ever going to get change, we have to show that we're not afraid to vote for change.
In this election, the choice is clear. Please join me in proudly casting a vote for a remarkable woman who represents the best that Massachusetts has to offer, Jill Stein
Sincerely

If you want to see why Jill Stein represents such a refreshing change from Deval Patrick, go to http:// http://www.jillstein.org/ and download the flyer called "Who's the Real Progressive in the Race".
If you're still gripped by "spoiler" fears, it's time to break free by going tohttp://www.jillstein.org/ and downloading the flyer called "Your Vote is Your Choice".
PLEASE forward this email to anyone you think might be interested.
