Lenox Select Board Candidates Forum
Set for Tuesday, May 3, at Lenox Library. Candidates to confirm by April 14.
LENOX, Massachusetts -- The four candidates running for two Select Board seats have been invited to take part in a one-hour forum on May 3 at 7 p.m. sponsored by the Berkshire Greens Political Action Committee and moderated by writer and broadcaster Dan Valenti.
The forum, to be held at the Lenox Library, will be filmed by CTSB-TV and cablecast at least once before the May 9 election. It will be held if at least two of the invitees accept.
The candidates are Kimberly Reopell Flynn, currently Select Board chairman, and a real estate paralegal and fitness trainer; Select Board member John McNinch, a tavern owner; David Roche, a local banker, businessman, and 2009 candidate for Select Board; and Eric Vincellette, a financial advisor and member of the Lenox Finance Committee.
The Berkshire Greens PAC has also sent the four a questionnaire asking their positions on more than a dozen topics including alternative energy, tax fairness, local economies, food systems, the Housatonic River PCB cleanup, health insurance reform, and the town budget.
