>> Josh is interested in the two-day legislative training offered by the Mass Legislature and suggested as many people as possible sign up for available spots in the Fall 2020 session. Barbara knows people who have taken the session and they all thought it was great but the time commitment might be hard for people to take on, so she thought a shorter session could have some appeal. Mike suggested a session at state Convention, probably not this year because of the time frame, but in future years. Barbara is trying to get someone from Mass Jobs with Justice to talk about working with the legislature to the Massachusetts Public Bank group and could also ask about speaking at a GRP workshop of some kind. We decided to not send an email to the GRP list about the legislative trainings.
