We, the members of the GRP Strategic Planning Working Group are writing to let you know about our work and the write-ups we have developed. On behalf of the GRP State Committee, we are releasing these findings and plans to the general membership of the GRP. Please note that the 2012 proposed goals and Timeline for those goals are only a draft for further discussion and deliberation.
This is a working document and we invite you to help improve it. Please join with us to share your thoughts, shape our strategy, and recommend people (including yourself) who we should ask to lend their varied skills to the tasks before us.
At the links below, you will find the preliminary findings of the GRP strategy work that had begun last fall. Once there, you can find several useful appendices as well, including earlier strategy recommendations and a communications "best practices" handbook.
Having goals that are specific, measurable, and achievable within a timeline are important for our party's growth. We hope we achieve consensus on our goals in building the GRP in 2012, raising the political consciousness of Massachusetts residents, and maximizing this historic opportunity for State House elections in November.
Here's how to get started:
Read the draft strategic plan and comment on each section
Next, please join the conversation and help shape our strategy. Here are two opportunities:
- Add your suggestions and comment on others
- Join the new listserv to discuss the draft proposal by email
Your feedback is welcome and needed!
