From sea to shining sea, Move to Amend spokesperson David Cobb is barnstorming the nation, building local momentum for a national campaign: to amend the Constitution to stop corporations from running the country by claiming the same rights as people.

Join him for a lively talk right here in Boston on Monday, September 26 at the First Church in Boston, 66 Marlborough Street, in Back Bay. Learn about the history of corporate personhood and how Move to Amend affiliates nationwide are building the homegrown democracy movement. David's talk will be followed by a discussion on what people can do locally. Come and connect with efforts to pass local resolutions in favor of amendment, as cities and towns across the country have done!

David is a lawyer, political activist, and engaged citizen who has dedicated his adult life to making the promise of a democratic republic a reality in the United States. In 2004, he ran for President of the United States on the Green Party ticket and successfully campaigned for the Ohio recount.

This event is free and open to all. It is co-sponsored by Alliance for Democracy and the Green-Rainbow Party of Massachusetts.

Tell your coworkers, tell your friends, tell your family. Join us—and the movement—on September 26!
